- 12 slices American Cheese
- 2 cups Colby Jack Cheese, shredded (or Cheddar)

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a large full-size sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Arrange half the bread in a single layer, butter-side down, on the prepared pan.

- Top American cheese layer with 1/3 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese.
