From beach bags to snack crumbs to sticky floors, I’ve rounded up my favorite fast cleaning hacks that’ll save your sanity this season. These ideas are super doable — each one takes 15 minutes or less, and many use things you already have around the house.
Want to refresh your entryway? Deep clean that fridge before it fills up again? Or get the kids involved in cleaning without the eye-rolls? I’ve got something for you. These quick wins are great to keep your home feeling light and fresh, even with all the summer chaos.

#1: Wipe Down All Light Switches and Doorknobs
Use a disinfecting spray or vinegar-water mix and a microfiber cloth. It’s amazing what builds up here.
#2: Clean Out the Car Console and Cup Holders
Take a trash bag outside, remove crumbs, toss old wrappers, and wipe everything down with baby wipes or cleaning wipes.

Give your welcome area a quick sweep and wipe down any lawn furniture with a damp cloth. (First, double-check the cleaning chemicals against the furniture material.)
