How To Make Sheet Pan Lasagna
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Grease a large baking sheet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil to prevent your lasagna from sticking.
- Prepare the Pasta: Break lasagna noodles into large pieces. Cook them in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Make the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the chopped onion in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease, then season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the marinara sauce and chopped spinach until everything is evenly coated.
- Layer the Sheet Pan Lasagna: On your prepared baking sheet, start with half the noodles, followed by half the meat sauce and half the shredded mozzarella. Repeat with the remaining noodles and sauce.
- Add the Ricotta Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, and remaining salt and pepper. Spread evenly over the top layer of the lasagna, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top.
- Bake: Bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges begin to crisp.
- Garnish and Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm. Use a spatula to scoop out layers, and enjoy!
