- 6 pounds Russet Potatoes, about 8 medium potatoes
- ½ pound Bacon
- ½ cup Salted Butter, softened and cubed (1 Stick)
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Cheddar Cheese
- 2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the potatoes for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until they can be easily sliced through.
- Set out butter, sour cream, and milk to come to room temperature. When added to the potato mixture, they shouldn't be cold.
- While the potatoes are baking, fry your bacon. Cook the bacon until the edges curl up, flipping periodically until thoroughly cooked. Place the bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to soak up the extra grease.
- Once the potatoes are done cooking, remove from the oven and decrease the heat to 350 degrees.
